A KISS FOR THE MISBEHAVED

A Kiss for the Misbehaved is a poetry collection by writer and photographer Jessica Furtado revolving around the age-old concept of growing up, focusing on sisterhood, first loves, and the unparalleled power of daydreaming.
The design of the book is representative of the gradual growth and change our narrator experiences over the course of the poems. Each book is entirely hand-painted, and each cover is letterpress printed.
The chapbook also comes with a collection of stickers, each being a piece of Jess’ photography that she’s handpicked to correlate with the poems inside.
MOOD BOARD WORKSHOP
at The Yoga Tree in Haverhill, MA
Sunday, February 25, 1-3pm
Manifest the year you desire by creating a mood board that reflects your intentions, wishes, and joys. This two-hour workshop welcomes playfulness and expression as you tap into your intuition & creative vision.
The workshop will begin with a brief meditation and key spell to help you unlock your creativity. Afterward, Jess will help guide you with prompts and tips, then welcome you to dive into an array of supplies and curated ephemera to create your own mood boards. Join us for a gathering of community, creativity, and a playlist that will set the tone to turn your daydreams into a work of art.
